Edison Park Reconfiguration Conceptual Plan
Huntington Beach
Description
The council is weighing two conceptual redesigns of Edison Park, including lit soccer fields along Hamilton, relocated pickleball courts, a skate park, tot lot, and new basketball courts; speakers overwhelmingly backed option two with fourteen community conditions, but no vote appears in the recording.
Impact summary
The redesign would modernize a heavily used southeast HB park with new sports facilities, but neighbors want guarantees on irrigation, tree replacement, pickleball noise, and construction traffic coordination with the Ascon and Magnolia Tank Farm projects.
