Distractions Lounge alcohol license

The Ocean View School District's chief business official asked the commission to deny the hard-alcohol upgrade, citing harm to Westmont Elementary students, the cluster of alcohol and vape shops nearby, and requesting a no-alcohol condition on any future patio.

The applicant's representative argued the business is long-established, the police department supports the 26 conditions, and the CUP actually gives the city more oversight than it has today over the grandfathered business.
